Position Your Business Where It Makes Sense – or where the money is.
People sometimes ask why is everybody bowing down to Facebook. Not really bowing down but they tend to accommodate Facebooks features in their own websites. To simply put, Facebook nowadays is where the money is. Just like what others did when MySpace was still a hot commodity including Digg, Reddit etc. And this is also the reason why most of my investments were built around the Facebook platform. This is also the reason why I push my clients (via my consultancy outfit ) to position their business with Facebook because it is where the money is.
If you’re really good at APIs, or if not better learn it as soonest because you can really do a lot of things with Facebooks tools and features. It’s absolutely amazing. Now if your Social Media Consultant haven’t tried the API thing and how these social media tools can be integrated, please drop him because he’s just a consultant in his own right it w/o a proven track record. Let’s not waste more resources this time.
On the other hand, we’ve made a few updates in our old career site. Updates included were; new members can now sign in using their Facebook account, latest members can now be seen in front of the site and they can now like every job post using their Facebook accounts.
So what’s the audience response with the new updates? Well, simply amazing! 
Trust me. It’s getting viral were I get twice or even trice unique views. And just lately we’ve run a simple test, we already acquired 600+ registered users from Facebook alone. Not bad for a newly launched site baring an old domain.
