Qualfon takes the first step in promoting a healthy lifestyle

QUALFON, a business process outsourcing (BPO) company, takes the first step in promoting a healthy lifestyle for the call center employees as they host the Run 4Q this Sunday at the Ayala Terraces.

Aside from celebrating its fourth anniversary, Qualfon official Aezel Aguirre said they want to promote running to the employees of BPOs.” – more from SunStar

More than two thousand (2,000) runners from Cebu joined the said fun run spearheaded by Qualfon last Sunday. The fun run was well-represented from; Call Center companies, other business industries, media, etc.. In fact, kids even joined the said event accompanied by the parents because the event added “3K”.

Lastly, rumor has it that Convergy’s also wanted the same event but too bad Qualfon acted real fast!

it good for youths now into the world of work but its too time consuming having to work 7 days and holidays included in guyana

@onica, yha, i’ve heard a lot about Qualfon’s image in Guyana. Do hope you can share to us more info about it.

@timotiyo, there are really a lot of employee complaints in Qualfon – Guyana, but let’s just hope that the guys being sent there coming from Qualfon – Cebu can help iron out the mess. :)

My friend resigned from qualfon since it has the worse payroll.. and I have shared it to a friend who works in qualfon as a SYSAD, he is a braggart friend who admitted that payroll in qualfon sucks but only to the AGENTS!! not in IT… (what?? so that means that payroll process is different for agents and IT?) What a stupid comment from my braggart sysad friend.

payroll issues mostly affects the agents because of movements from time to time. movements usually includes re-skilling, re-tooling, promotions etc. of agents every week. just imagine 200-300 agents are being moved from one skill to another. i know this is not a valid excuse but what i’m sure of is that they’re currently updating their systems to address payroll issues and those who have disputes will always be entertained, and what’s due to the employees will always be given. :)

so tell your friend to chillax!

additionally, i guess your braggart IT friend seems right since IT personnels is only a fraction of the total population. say 20-40 of them as compared to 4,000+ agents.. :)

really now.. good to know they’re promoting healthy lifestyle.

@febbe, haven’t heard much from them after i left the Co.. :)
